Vitamin For Dogs

seriously I am confused about the toxic food for dogs?

There are so many that I want to see the studies that found that garlic and onions are toxic to dogs. Now I am not going to feed them to my dogs but one list said that human vitamans were and my own vet told me I could give my dog a human vitamin. Dog food and treats have onion and garlic in them. Some dogs eat grapes all the time and don’t have any reaction to them. Is there maybe a greater chance of allergic reaction to some of the foods on these lists such as children and peanuts so they just want you to stay away from them or what?
I have read the lists that say why but I want to know who studied it and how they know and why dog foods and treats have some of the ingredients in them. Are the studies conclusive there are a lot of unknowns in the list are they even sure that was the cause or are these just theories. I am not saying they ARE wrong or that I am going to have my dogs eating them I want to see the evidence.

Pets are no different than humans.
